A total of 746 police officers, 18 ships, 7 boats, 8 cars, and 171 motorbikes were deployed to coordinate with local authorities and other cooperating forces to organize search and rescue operations, extinguish forest fires, and mitigate the effects of tornadoes that occurred in the area in 67 incidents.
They directly organized search and rescue operations, forest fire fighting, and tornado response in 57 incidents, deploying 1,094 officers and soldiers, 19 ships, 10 boats, and 14 vehicles. They rescued 89 people and 11 vehicles, repaired 94 houses, and contributed to mitigating damage caused by natural disasters.

The conference also presented numerous opinions and discussions to outline key directions and tasks for 2017, closely aligned with the actual situation in each locality. Particular emphasis was placed on climate and extreme weather forecasting; promoting public awareness campaigns to improve people's knowledge and experience in disaster prevention and search and rescue; and organizing thorough training on developed plans and strategies to respond promptly to situations and minimize damage caused by natural disasters and accidents.
