14-year-old girl preserved awaiting 'resurrection'.

A young British girl has won a legal battle for the right to have her body cryogenically frozen in order to seek a chance of being brought back to life after dying from a terminal illness.

A 14-year-old girl living in a London area was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Knowing she didn't have long to live, she went online to research cryopreservation, hoping for a chance of survival in the future.

However, her wish was only supported by her mother, while her father strongly opposed it. Therefore, they had to seek arbitration from the court. In the end, the mother and daughter prevailed.

In the throes of her illness, the little girl wrote a letter to the judge, a short but heartfelt letter filled with a will to live. The letter included the following passage:

"I'm only 14 years old and I don't want to die, but I know I will die. I know that Cryonics gives me a chance to be cured and awakened in the future – even if it's hundreds of years from now. I don't want to be buried underground. I want to live, to live longer, and I think that in the future science can find a cure for this cancer and awaken me. This is my dream!"

The judge visited the girl in the hospital and was impressed by her courageous attitude in the face of adversity. The girl passed away in October and was taken to the United States to be cryopreserved using cryonics, in accordance with her wishes.
