Six-year-old girl sexually assaulted by blind neighbor.
Trusting their blind neighbor, the family entrusted their child to his care while they went out. Unbeknownst to them, the little girl became a victim of the neighbor's depraved behavior.
According to information from the Criminal Investigation Department for Social Order Crimes (PC45) of the Hai Phong City Police today (July 5th), the unit has initiated a criminal case and indicted Luong Thanh Thuy (born in 1986, residing in Quan Toan Ward, Hong Bang District) for the crime of child sexual abuse. The police also changed the preventive measure, allowing Thuy to be released on bail due to a traffic accident many years ago that resulted in blindness and a traumatic brain injury.
According to initial information, on May 4th, Mr. and Mrs. NVK (neighbors of Thuy) brought their daughter, NTH, to Thuy's house to leave her there because they had to go out for something. However, about an hour later, H.'s mother, Ms. VTL, received a phone call from H. (using Thuy's phone). Hearing her daughter crying and asking for her mother to pick her up, Ms. L. rushed back to Thuy's house to take her daughter home. At this time, Ms. L. did not realize her daughter had been sexually assaulted because she herself is blind.
On May 6th, Mr. K. returned home from work and, while bathing his daughter H., discovered injuries to her genitals. Upon questioning, H. recounted being sexually assaulted by Thuy. Mr. K. immediately reported the incident to the local police. An examination revealed serious injuries to H.'s genitals. Additionally, H. had numerous scratches, swelling on her lips, and bruising on both knees.
At the police station, Thuy initially admitted to all of her criminal acts.
The incident is currently under further investigation.
