Closing Ceremony of the First Nghe An Businessmen's Cup Football Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - After two days of exciting competition, the first Businessmen's Cup Football Tournament, organized by the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion in coordination with the Nghe An Business Association, concluded on the afternoon of October 8th.
The first Entrepreneurs' Cup football tournament is held to practically celebrate the 78th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 1945 - October 13, 2023).
On October 7-8, four teams, including the Nghe An Tourism Association, the Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association, and the Real Estate Association, competed in a round-robin format to determine the top two teams for the final round.
At the end of the tournament, the Nghe An Real Estate Association team won first place, and the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association team won second place. The organizing committee also awarded prizes to individuals: the best player of the tournament from the Veteran Entrepreneurs Association team, the top scorer, and the best goalkeeper from the Nghe An Real Estate Association team.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Tran Anh Son, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Business Association and Chairman of the Provincial Association of Outstanding Businesses, affirmed: Although this was the first time the tournament was organized, thanks to the attention of the leaders of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, the participating associations, and the enthusiastic dedication of the players, the tournament was a resounding success; creating a healthy playground, improving health, and helping athletes to interact, learn, and strengthen solidarity among businesses in the province. He expressed hope that the movement of physical exercise and sports training within the business associations in the province would continue to develop.
