Closing Ceremony of the Ethnic Minority Arts Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - After two days of lively and engaging performances, the 4th Nghe An Province Ethnic Minority Arts Festival concluded on the evening of April 22nd.
Attending the closing ceremony were Comrade Son Phuoc Hoan - Deputy Minister, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities; Nguyen Canh Viet - Deputy Head of the Northwest Steering Committee; on the side of Nghe An province, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Viet Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives from provincial departments and agencies; leaders of districts; actors, artisans, musicians; and a large audience from Vinh City.

The 4th Ethnic Minority Arts Festival brought together 360 performers, artisans, and musicians from 11 mountainous and highland districts and towns, representing ethnic minorities living throughout the province.
With a total of over 50 performances showcasing the unique cultural identities of ethnic minority communities, the festival brought joy and excitement to a large audience. The festival was highly praised for the efforts and sense of responsibility of the participating amateur art troupes, contributing to its remarkable success.

The closing ceremony of the festival included performances of 12 outstanding cultural and artistic acts, as well as a traditional costume show. At the end of the ceremony, the organizing committee presented awards to the amateur art troupes that achieved high results.
First prize went to the Tan Ky District Arts and Culture Team; second prize to the Nghia Dan and Ky Son District Arts and Culture Teams; and third prize to the Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, and Quy Chau District Arts and Culture Teams.

Regarding the "Beauty of Ethnic Minorities" contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to contestant Luong Thi Quynh (Tuong Duong); the second prize to contestants Vi Thi Yen (Tuong Duong) and Vu Y Co (Ky Son); and awarded 3 third prizes and 10 consolation prizes to other contestants.
