Closing Ceremony of the Phu Dong Sports Festival of Nghe An Province 2024

The 20th Phu Dong Sports Festival of Nghe An province was held in Vinh city with 10 competitive events; nearly 3,500 athletes from 21 districts, towns, and cities throughout the province participated.

According to the organizers' assessment, at this year's Phu Dong Sports Festival, in terms of professional standards...cThe teams were given reasonable training and competition schedules, and the matches proceeded as planned.

The referees officiating the events at the Sports Festival are of high professional quality. As a result, they have organized and conducted matches according to the rules and regulations, fairly and objectively, accurately determining the situations and results of the matches.

In particular, the athletes competed with high determination, striving their best to achieve the best results. They competed in the spirit of solidarity, mutual learning, honesty, and sportsmanship characteristic of school sports.

The professional quality and achievements of the athletes at this year's Sports Festival reflect the attention, guidance, and favorable conditions provided by localities and schools to the movement of training and competing in sports among students at all levels of secondary education.

Immediately following the provincial-level Phu Dong Sports Festival, schools will continue to plan training for high-achieving students to participate in the 10th National Phu Dong Sports Festival in 2024 in Quang Nam province and Hai Phong city.

At the end of the Sports Festival, in terms of the number of awards, the Vinh City team ranked first with 32 first prizes, 22 second prizes, and 23 third prizes.

In second place was the team from Dien Chau district with 22 first prizes, 20 second prizes, and 24 third prizes.

In third place was the team from Thanh Chuong district with 14 first prizes, 11 second prizes, and 11 third prizes.

Ranked 5th: The team from Quynh Luu district won 13 first prizes, 12 second prizes, and 15 third prizes.

Ranked 6th: The Do Luong District team of athletes with 10 first prizes, 14 second prizes, and 14 third prizes.

Ranked 7th: The Nghia Dan District team won 8 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 20 third prizes.

Ranked 8th: The team from Yen Thanh district won 7 first prizes, 16 second prizes, and 21 third prizes.

Ranked 9th: Con Cuong District team with 7 first prizes, 13 second prizes, and 9 third prizes.

Ranked 10th: The team from Quy Hop district won 7 first prizes, 8 second prizes, and 13 third prizes.

Ranked 11th: Hoang Mai town's team of athletes with 7 first prizes, 7 second prizes, and 11 third prizes.

Ranked 12th: Hung Nguyen District's team of athletes with 7 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 6 third prizes.

Ranked 13th: Que Phong District's team of athletes with 6 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 17 third prizes.

Ranked 14th: Nam Dan District's team of athletes with 4 first prizes, 10 second prizes, and 14 third prizes.

Ranked 15th: The Nghi Loc District team won 4 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 17 third prizes.

Ranked 16th: Anh Son District's team of athletes with 4 first prizes, 1 second prize, and 7 third prizes.

Ranked 17th: Thai Hoa town's team of athletes with 3 first prizes, 11 second prizes, and 9 third prizes.

Ranked 18th: The team from Quy Chau district won 3 first prizes, 2 second prizes, and 7 third prizes.

Ranked 19th: The team from Cua Lo town won 3 first prizes and 4 third prizes.

Ranked 20th: Tan Ky District's team of athletes with 2 first prizes, 6 second prizes, and 7 third prizes.
