Closing Ceremony of the Nghe An Banking Sector Sports Festival 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - After 8 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 16 sets of medals to the teams participating in the Nghe An Banking Industry Sports Festival 2023.
At noon on September 17th, in Vinh City, the State Bank of Vietnam's Nghe An branch held its closing ceremony.Nghe An Banking Sector Sports Festival 2023.
Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Hoang Van Nhien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc; Ms. Pham Thi Lien - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Women's Affairs Department of the Vietnam Banking Trade Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam branch in Nghe An province; and representatives of the leadership of banks operating in Nghe An province.
The 2023 Nghe An Banking Sector Sports Festival attracted over 890 athletes from 43 banking units in Nghe An province, competing in 5 sports: men's football, women's volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and tennis.
After eight days of intense competition, the sports festival concluded successfully. The athletes participating in all disciplines gave their best, contributing to the tournament with exciting, thrilling, and dramatic moments.
The participating units continued to make thorough and meticulous preparations, introducing many innovations in the refereeing team, infrastructure, and media coverage. As a result, the professional quality improved, creating a joyful atmosphere and widespread impact.
The athletes gave their all and competed with all their might, thus bringing impressive moments and unforgettable moments of exhilaration to the tournament. This year's sports event also attracted a large number of spectators, creating a vibrant atmosphere and fostering solidarity and friendship throughout the banking sector of Nghe An.
At the end of the sports event, the Organizing Committee awarded 16 sets of medals. These included 7 sets of medals in badminton; 2 sets in tennis; 5 sets in table tennis; 1 set in volleyball; 1 set in football; and many other supplementary awards.
Particularly in the football competition of this year's sports festival, Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Vinh Branch excellently won the championship. In addition, in the volleyball competition, Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank showed very high performance, winning the Gold Medal.
Based on the team's performance statistics across the five competitions, the organizing committee awarded the first prize overall to Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank; the second prize overall went to the Social Policy Bank of Nghe An province.
