Closing Ceremony of the 2024 Nghe An Lotus Tourism and Food Festival

Attending the closing ceremony were: Mr. Pham Ngoc Canh – Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi – Director of the Nghe An Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; along with leaders from the Department of Culture and Sports, the Nghe An Tourism Association, and various units, businesses, and artisans from within and outside the province.

The Sen Nghe An Tourism and Food Festival 2024 will take place from November 29th to December 1st, 2024 at the Provincial Cultural Center and Ho Tung Mau Pedestrian Street, Vinh City.

At the festival, people were treated to a performance of "The Quintessence of Lotus Cuisine" by renowned artisans, culinary experts, and professional chefs from the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association and Nghe An province. Visitors had the opportunity to experience preparing dishes and sample delicious food right on stage.

The festival also features spaces showcasing lotus-based tourism and cuisine; commercial products, OCOP products, traditional products, and specialties of the province; and beautiful photo spots for locals and tourists visiting Nghe An.

After three days of organization, the festival left a deep impression on visitors from both within and outside the province. The festival attracted tens of thousands of locals and tourists who came to visit and experience it. This was the tourism event with the largest number of participating vendors and visitors since the beginning of 2024.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi – Director of the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center of Nghe An province – emphasized: The Lotus Tourism and Culinary Festival has created a good opportunity to promote and honor the quintessential culinary cultural values ​​of Nghe An and other provinces and cities nationwide... serving the needs of the people and tourists attending; diversifying and enriching Nghe An's cultural and tourism events.

In addition, the festival also creates opportunities for organizations, individuals, and tourism and food service businesses to exchange experiences and learn from each other, thereby improving service quality; combining the display of traditional dishes and local OCOP products with the promotion of tourism products of Nghe An and other provinces and cities.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee presented certificates to the units, artisans, and localities that participated in the festival, contributing to its success this year.
