Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation for the 2nd NTV – Sao Vang Beer Pickleball Cup - 2026

Attending the closing ceremony were: Mr. Phung Thanh Vinh – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province; Mr. Tran Minh Ngoc – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, Chairman of the Nghe An Journalists Association; Mr. Pham Ngoc Canh – Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Pham Thanh Long – Deputy Director of the Provincial Police; Mr. Hoang Van Phuc – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Pham Huu Han - National Business Director of Sao Vang Beer, Wine and Beverage Group Joint Stock Company and Gold Star beverage brand.

Attending the closing ceremony were representatives from various departments and agencies, sponsors, clubs, and a large number of athletes and spectators.

The 2nd NTV – Sao Vang Beer Pickleball Cup 2026 attracted 368 athletes from many localities across the country, competing in 7 events. Over 3 days of competition, the matches were lively, dramatic, and exciting, clearly demonstrating the rapid development of the pickleball movement in Nghe An province and the region.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Thao – Deputy Director of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, and Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament – ​​emphasized that compared to the first season, this year's tournament showed significant progress in scale, professional quality, and organization, while also acknowledging the serious and fair-play spirit of the athletes.

A notable highlight of the tournament was the integration of sports activities with social welfare work. Through the tournament, the organizing committee successfully raised funds for 11 houses for disadvantaged families, totaling 570 million VND, contributing to spreading the humanitarian significance of the sports movement.

In the various competitions, many athletes left their mark with their technical skills, composure, and determined competitive spirit. The finals, especially the Men's Doubles Pro event, attracted large audiences both in person at the arena and through digital platforms, demonstrating the growing appeal of pickleball.

Beyond being a playground for professional athletes, the tournament also witnessed the active participation of many young athletes in amateur categories such as men's doubles over 40 and doubles for leaders, clearly reflecting the widespread influence of this sport in social life.

Besides the professional aspects, the organization of the tournament was assessed as systematic and professional, with live broadcasts on multiple digital platforms, helping to bring the image of the tournament closer to a wider audience and creating a foundation for elevating the tournament in subsequent seasons.

The 2nd NTV – Sao Vang Beer Pickleball Cup in 2026 continues to affirm the appeal of this sport in Nghe An. The well-organized and professional event, combined with multi-platform live television broadcasting, has contributed to elevating the tournament's status.

Building on the success of this year's season, the Organizing Committee expects the tournament to continue expanding in scale, improving professional quality, becoming a prestigious annual event, contributing to promoting the sports movement and building an image of a dynamic and modern Nghe An.
