3-year-old boy seriously injured after being attacked by a stray dog
(Baonghean.vn) - While playing on the side of the road near his house, a 3-year-old boy in Que Phong district was attacked by a stray dog, causing serious injuries.
On the afternoon of July 26, Mr. Nong Van Huan - Chairman of the People's Committee of Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district, said that a 3-year-old child had just been attacked by a stray dog, causing serious injuries.
Accordingly, at around 10:30 a.m. the same day, HGH (born in 2019) in Hien village, Tam Tien hamlet, Chau Thon commune, Que Phong district was following his mother to play near his house when a stray dog suddenly attacked him, causing serious injuries to his face, nose, forehead and head.
Immediately after the child was attacked, people nearby beat the dog to death, reported it to the authorities and took the child to the emergency room.
At around 11:15 a.m. the same day, the boy was taken to Que Phong District Medical Center, but due to severe facial injuries, the center transferred him to the provincial hospital.
It is known that HGH's family is poor, with 4 children, H. is the youngest. The dog that attacked the child was identified as a stray dog suspected of being rabid, passing through many areas of Tam Tien hamlet, Chau Thon commune. Previously, it had attacked a child in Mo hamlet, Tam Tien hamlet, but the family promptly chased it away so it did not cause any injuries.
