Off the pitch: 'As clueless as a chicken eating stink bugs'

Despite being considered superior in every aspect, the players from Hoang Mai town were overwhelmed when facing Que Phong Youth Team. In the first half, the Que Phong players dominated, constantly attacking Hoang Mai's goal, and the players from the mountain town even took the lead.

Frustrated by his players' slow and unfocused performance, head coach Ho Huu Tien constantly supervised and directed them. At times, unable to control himself, he would angrily exclaim: "Concentrate! Why are you all so distracted, like chickens eating stink bugs?"

Playing aggressively and confidently as captain, and scoring the opening goal for Que Phong Youth, Hung Thinh's name was chanted loudly by the audience.

In particular, whenever there was a free-kick situation, Hung Thinh's name was ingrained in the coach's mind: "Hung Thinh, leave it to Thinh to take the shot," while outside, the fans chanted: "Hung Thinh, Thinh Vuong, Que Phong forever Hung Thinh."

"If you don't win this race, you'll all be going back to the gas station."

After the first half ended and the players went out for a timeout, the coaches of the Hoang Mai Youth Team constantly reprimanded their players. They used constant "motivational" tactics. Comments included: "You talk big but you play like a fool," "You're all loudmouthed," "You're trembling like a leaf playing against a weak team," "You're all big and tall, you drink milk like elephants, but you're already out of breath after running only halfway across the field…"

Not only the coaches, but also the parents said things that were quite harsh: "If you lose this match, you'll all go home and chase after the train," "If you can't score a goal, don't even talk about football with your father. Hang up your boots and go home."

Fearing suspension and being relegated to chasing chickens, the Youth team made history in the second half by scoring consecutive goals and securing a convincing 5-1 victory against the Que Phong Youth team.
