Thai An General Hospital saves the life of a critically ill patient due to a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.
On October 22nd, Thai An General Hospital successfully performed laparoscopic surgery, saving the life of a patient with a life-threatening ruptured ectopic pregnancy.

Patient Tran Thi T, born in 1988, was admitted to the hospital with acute abdominal pain, low blood pressure, pale complexion, and shock. Examination and imaging studies confirmed this was a gynecological emergency: a ruptured ectopic pregnancy causing significant internal bleeding.
Dr. Tran Thi Thu Trang, Specialist Level I - Deputy Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology Department,Thai An General Hospital predicts that without urgent intervention, the patient's life will be in danger.
Immediately afterwards, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, in coordination with doctors from the Anesthesia and Resuscitation Department, transferred the patient to the operating room for emergency surgery.

During laparoscopic abdominal surgery, the surgeons found a ruptured ectopic pregnancy located in the right fallopian tube, resulting in a large amount of blood in the abdominal cavity. The surgical team quickly performed hemostasis, removed the ectopic pregnancy, and aspirated the blood from the abdominal cavity. The amount of blood recorded in Ms. T's abdominal cavity was nearly 1,000 ml.
After the surgery, noticing the patient's weakened condition, the doctor ordered blood tests and discovered that the patient showed signs of severe anemia and needed an emergency blood transfusion.
Meanwhile, for patients in particularly difficult circumstances, whose families are unable to donate blood, Thai An General Hospital mobilized its staff, doctors, and nurses with compatible blood types to quickly come and donate blood to save the patients' lives.
