Vinh International Hospital provides free surgery for 30 disabled children.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 31st, Vinh International Hospital, in collaboration with the Nghe An Children's Protection Fund, organized the program "Humanitarian surgery for children with motor disabilities in Nghe An".

During this period, the hospital examined 50 children, and after screening, 30 were deemed eligible for surgery. Orthopedic specialists and doctors at Vinh International Hospital stated that the examinations revealed various motor deformities such as: fused fingers/toes, extra fingers/toes, contracture scars, elbow deformities, and sequelae from previous injuries…

Previously, Vinh International Hospital organized screening for motor disabilities in children in districts and towns throughout Nghe An province, such as Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, and Do Luong. Children aged 6 months to 20 years with motor disabilities who meet the criteria and health requirements will receive free surgery.

The hospital will perform surgery on 30 disabled children from April 1st to April 5th, 2017.
