Vinh International Hospital provides free surgery for 30 disabled children

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 31, Vinh International Hospital coordinated with Nghe An Children's Fund to organize the program 'Humanitarian surgery for children with motor disabilities in Nghe An'.

This time, the hospital examined 50 children and after screening, 30 children were eligible for surgery. Experts and orthopedic surgeons at Vinh International Hospital said that through examination, they found movement defects such as: syndactyly, extra fingers/toes, contracture scars, elbow deformities, and sequelae of old injuries...

Previously, Vinh International Hospital organized screening for motor disabilities for children in districts and towns in Nghe An province such as Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Do Luong, etc. Children from 6 months to 20 years old with motor disabilities who meet the criteria and health conditions will receive free surgery.

The hospital will perform surgery on 30 disabled children starting from April 1 to April 5, 2017.
