Vinh International Hospital: Free surgery for disabled children

(Baonghean.vn) - Tfrom March 31 to April 5,Vinh International Hospital cooperated with Nghe An Children's Fund to organize the program "Humanitarian surgery for children with motor disabilities in Nghe An".

Previously, Vinh International Hospital organized screening for motor disabilities for children in districts and towns in Nghe An province. Children from 6 months to 20 years old with motor disabilities (polydactyly, syndactyly, O-shaped legs, X-shaped legs, etc.) who meet the criteria and health conditions will receive free surgery.

At the program, experts and orthopedic surgeons from Vinh International Hospital will perform surgery for about 50 children with motor disabilities in the province. The humanitarian surgery program for children with disabilities is organized by Vinh International Hospital 2-3 times a year, with 50 children each time.

This is an opportunity to help disabled children improve their disabilities, reduce difficulties in daily life; and integrate into the community.
