Bentley Continental Supersports 2017 - The new four-wheeled superbike.

Bentley has unveiled the new Continental Supersports luxury sports sedan ahead of the upcoming 2017 Detroit Auto Show. This is the top-of-the-line model in the Bentley Continental luxury sedan range.

It's safe to say that the Continental Supersports is Bentley's most powerful, fastest-accelerating, and top-of-the-line model to date. In fact, according to Bentley, the Continental Supersports is the fastest and most powerful luxury sedan in the world today.

Besides the coupe version, the Bentley Continental Supersports also comes in a convertible version. Compared to the coupe version, the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible has the same engine and power. However, the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible takes 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0-96 km/h and only reaches a top speed of 330 km/h.

It's worth noting that the Bentley Continental Supersports weighs up to 2,750 kg for the coupe version and 2,900 kg for the coupe version. Therefore, the aforementioned performance figures are truly impressive.

The Bentley Continental Supersports' engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. In default mode, the drivetrain distributes power at a ratio of 40% to the front and 60% to the rear. However, this ratio can change depending on road conditions.

Furthermore, the Bentley Continental Supersports features a torque vectoring system, first introduced on the Continental GT3-R race car. This system allows for independent braking of the front and rear wheels when cornering. That's not to mention the traction control system exclusive to the Bentley Continental Supersports.

In terms of design, the Bentley Continental Supersports stands out with new front and rear bumpers, extended side steps, a rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber hood. Glossy black exhaust pipes at the rear, carbon ceramic brakes, 21-inch alloy wheels, and 275/35 tires are also notable exterior details of the Bentley Continental Supersports.

According to Bentley, these alloy wheels reduce the car's weight by 20 kg. If paired with a titanium exhaust system, the car is even lighter by another 5 kg.

Inside the Continental Supersports, Bentley uses a three-tone interior with diamond-pattern stitching on the seats and door panels. Furthermore, the Bentley Continental Supersports features a unique steering wheel and gear shifter, both partially wrapped in Alcantara.

The exact price of the Bentley Continental Supersports has not yet been announced. Of course, the Bentley Continental Supersports will certainly not be cheap.
