In this list, the company with the highest tax debt is Viet Hai Shipping and Real Estate Company, owing over 159 billion VND. Next is Hong Quang Construction and Real Estate Investment Company with over 100 billion VND.
The following companies, such as Cat Long Hai Company, Trang Thien Phat Construction Services Company Limited, and Industrial Construction Company, owe 52.6 billion VND, 44.4 billion VND, and 43.9 billion VND respectively...
The City Tax Department stated that despite applying coercive measures such as requesting the revocation of business registration certificates, declaring invoices invalid, seizing bank accounts, and notifying businesses of abandonment of their addresses, they have still been unable to collect the tax debt.
A representative from the tax department stated that following this list, other entities that are not conscientious about paying taxes will also be publicly named and shamed.
Earlier in late April, the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department publicly disclosed 182 businesses with outstanding tax debts and implemented measures such as temporarily suspending the departure of those who were delinquent in paying their taxes, while also strengthening efforts to collect and enforce tax debt collection.
