To celebrate the 118th anniversary of Bhutan's National Day, businessman Do Quang Vinh and his family made a special visit to the Himalayan nation at the invitation of the King of Bhutan. The highlight of the trip was a trek to the Paro Taktsang Monastery, also known as the Tiger's Nest – the most important spiritual symbol of the country.

The challenge of hiking to an altitude of 3,000m.
Tiger's Nest Monastery, built in the 15th century, is perched precariously on a high cliff. To reach it, visitors must hike a total of 10 km round trip. With its steep and rugged terrain, this journey requires endurance and unwavering determination.
At an altitude of over 3,000 meters above sea level, the thin air can cause headaches or dizziness for those unaccustomed to high-intensity exercise. However, businessman Do Quang Vinh shared that this was an experience "worth every moment" as he contemplated Buddhist teachings and admired the majestic scenery.

Do Quang Vinh (born in 1989) currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of SHB Bank. He is the eldest son of Mr. Do Quang Hien (Chairman Hien), Chairman of T&T Group. The trip was not only a vacation but also a journey to find tranquility and contemplate the spiritual and cultural values in the happiest country in the world.
