Man hacked to death while taking his girlfriend out for a ride.
A 16-year-old boy was taking his girlfriend out when he was mistaken for a rival by a group led by 18-year-old Hoang The Anh, who then hacked him to death.
According to the investigation, on the evening of February 23, 18-year-old Hoang The Anh was riding his motorbike in the Kim Lien tunnel in Dong Da district when a group of people attacked him with knives, but he was not injured. The Anh then went on Facebook to call on his accomplices to gather and take revenge.

About 15 minutes later, 17 young men gathered at the meeting point, armed with weapons including machetes, cleavers, and pipes fitted with pig-slaughtering knives.
Police have identified the perpetrator of the fatal blow as Nguyen Duc Manh, 16 years old.
