Mr. Nguyen Van Thu - Vice Chairman of Phuong Hung Commune People's Committee confirmed the above incident to the press. According to Mr. Thu, the dog thief and the dog in the sack were brought to Gia Loc District Police for investigation and the suspect was also taken to the hospital for examination.

"According to people's reports, two people went to steal dogs, but one of them sped away, so only one of them was caught," said Mr. Thu.
