Belgium intercepts two Russian Tu-160s over the North Sea
Belgian F-16 fighter jets intercepted two Russian Tu-160 bombers, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the Dutch Defense Ministry.

The interception occurred as the Russian Air Force planes passed over the North Sea. The Russian pilots were then accompanied by their British counterparts.
Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video recording the flight of two Tu-160 strategic missile bombers patrolling the airspace of Belarus, accompanied by Su-30SM fighter jets of the Belarusian Air Force.
It is known that the US reconnaissance aircraft flew along the northwestern border of Belarus and the border of the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.
Earlier, Russian Su-30 fighter jets observed the actions of British reconnaissance aircraft, as the aircraft tried to approach the Crimean peninsula.
