Belgium intercepted two Russian Tu-160s over the North Sea.
Belgian F-16 fighter jets intercepted two Russian Tu-160 bombers, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the Dutch Ministry of Defence.

The interception occurred when Russian Air Force aircraft were flying over the North Sea. The Russian pilots were subsequently escorted by their British Royal Air Force counterparts.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing two Tu-160 strategic missile bombers patrolling Belarusian airspace, escorted by Belarusian Air Force Su-30SM fighter jets.
It is known that American reconnaissance aircraft flew along the northwestern border of Belarus and the border of Russia's Kaliningrad province.
Earlier, Russian Su-30 fighter jets observed the actions of the British reconnaissance aircraft as it attempted to approach the Crimean Peninsula.
