Electrocuted to death while cutting down a tree

Mr. Ha Van Thai, Chief of Police of Huu Kiem Commune, said that at about 5:00 p.m. the same day, the Commune Police Department received information from the working group of the Ky Son electricity industry that while checking the 35KV high-voltage power line to Dinh Son 1 village, Huu Kiem commune, they discovered the body of a man who died from electrocution.

Upon verification, the deceased victim was Mr. Lu Van Oanh, 52 years old, residing in Dinh Son 1 village, Huu Kiem commune. After discovering the incident, the authorities began an investigation, and initially concluded that while Mr. Oanh was cutting down trees to make a fence, the tree unfortunately got caught in a high-voltage power line, electrocuting Mr. Oanh to death on the spot.
Sharing the pain with the victim's family, the People's Committee of Huu Kiem commune supported 3 million VND, and the electricity sector of Ky Son district supported 5 million VND.
