(Baonghean.vn) - On July 14th, an electric shock incident occurred in Huu Kiem commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, resulting in one fatality.

According to Mr. Ha Van Thai, Head of the Huu Kiem Commune Police, at approximately 5 PM on the same day, the Commune Police received information from a task force of the Ky Son Electricity Department. While inspecting the 35KV high-voltage power line leading to Dinh Son 1 village, Huu Kiem commune, they discovered the body of a man who had died from electrocution.

Upon verification, the deceased was identified as Mr. Lu Van Oanh, 52 years old, residing in Dinh Son 1 village, Huu Kiem commune. After discovering the incident, the authorities launched an investigation and initially concluded that while Mr. Oanh was cutting trees to build a fence, a tree accidentally came into contact with a high-voltage power line, causing him to be electrocuted and die instantly.
Sharing the grief with the victim's family, the People's Committee of Huu Kiem commune provided 3 million VND in support, and the Ky Son district electricity sector provided 5 million VND.
