On October 21st, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Dak Nong Provincial Police announced that they had served the decision to initiate criminal proceedings, indict the suspect, and issue an arrest warrant for Duong Van Lenh (born in 1974), residing in Quang Hoa commune, Dak G'long district, Dak Nong province, for the crime of murder.

The suspect is Duong Van Lenh.

According to initial information, at noon on October 11th, Ms. Hoang Thi My (born in 1976, Lenh's wife) returned home from work and saw Lenh sitting around doing nothing, not helping her cook dinner. She then loudly scolded Lenh, leading to a conflict between the couple.

Enraged at what he perceived as his wife's insult, Lenh took a wooden stick and beat My. My ran outside, but Lenh chased after her, repeatedly striking her head and shoulders with the stick, causing severe injuries that led to her death on the way to the hospital.
