Nghe An Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung met with voters of Hung Tien commune (Nam Dan)

Also meeting voters was comrade Nguyen Xuan Duc - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee, delegate of the Provincial People's Council.

Attending the conference were comrades: Nguyen Viet Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Le Thi Hoai Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Director of the Department of Health; and leaders of departments, branches and Nam Dan district.

Presenting his opinion at the conference, voter Nguyen Duy Ty - Party Cell Secretary, Head of Bo An hamlet proposed that the province study and consider investing in a branch road from Da market (Hung Tien commune) passing through Bo An hamlet connecting with National Highway 46 - Nhan Thap temple to maximize immediate and long-term socio-economic efficiency.

Regarding the traffic issue, voter Nguyen Van Quy - Secretary of Bo Duc hamlet Party Cell said that the project to build a road connecting the Northern beltway (Nam Linh commune) to Con But market (Hung Tien commune), which passes through Hung Tien commune for about 4km, is under construction at a slow pace, causing many difficulties for the people in general and households on both sides of the road in particular.

Therefore, voter Nguyen Van Quy suggested that the province and district continue to allocate funds and urge the construction unit to speed up the progress to soon complete the project, reducing difficulties for people every time they have to pass through this route.

Affirming that the policy of merging provinces, abolishing district level, and rearranging commune-level administrative units has received high approval and support from the people, voter Nguyen Cong Huu - Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Hung Tien commune said that from August 1, 2025, non-professional commune-level activists will cease their activities. However, up to now, there has been no specific support mechanism for these officials.

Therefore, voter Nguyen Cong Huu suggested that all levels and sectors pay attention to having support policies for this group so that they can find new jobs to stabilize their lives.

Voter Nguyen Thi Lien - Head of Nhan Hau Hamlet said that in 2018, Nghe An province implemented the policy of merging hamlets. Currently, hamlets basically have 350 households or more, some special and isolated hamlets also have over 200 households. Therefore, it is recommended that the State consider not merging hamlets because the current hamlet size is appropriate.

At the conference, voters of Hung Tien commune requested to continue paying attention to adjusting agricultural land prices when the State reclaims them; regulating water resources for agricultural production; creating conditions for people to inspect waterway vehicles; creating conditions for people to carry out administrative procedures...

The Department of Home Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Construction and Nam Dan district responded, discussed and clarified voters' opinions and recommendations on policies for part-time commune-level cadres; merging villages and hamlets; implementing traffic projects...

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung said that although from the beginning of 2025 until now, in the context of many difficulties, the socio-economic development results of the province in general and Nam Dan district in particular have achieved many positive results; especially the province has organized many meaningful events and activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

Implementing the Central Government's policies and guidelines, Nghe An province has determinedly and drastically implemented the reorganization of the apparatus, reorganization of commune-level administrative units and organization of a 2-level local government model with the goal of bringing the government closer to the people, serving better the people's needs; which has received high consensus from cadres, party members, people and voters.

Besides, the province is focusing on preparing to well organize Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress with two important contents: building congress documents and personnel plans; implementing the growth target of 10.5% and implementing four key resolutions issued by the Politburo.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung highly appreciated the frank and responsible opinions of voters for the common work, for the development of the locality and the province, and directly exchanged, answered, and received voters' opinions and recommendations.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that the voters' recommendations on traffic issues are completely correct. Therefore, from now until July 1, 2025, Nam Dan district must pay attention to implementing site clearance, allocating capital, and speeding up the progress of project implementation. After that date, the Department of Construction must pay attention to finding solutions to implement the project on schedule and achieve the set goals.

Appreciating the consensus and agreement of voters when implementing the policy of rearranging commune-level administrative units, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung said that we must wait for the Central Government's guidance on support policies for non-professional commune-level workers. Under the conditions, the province will continue to study support policies for non-professional commune-level workers affected after the commune merger.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung emphasized that in the coming time, the province will direct agencies, units and localities to consider and resolve voters' recommendations according to their authority; continue to create the most favorable conditions for people in handling administrative procedures, especially after abolishing the district level and rearranging the commune-level administrative units.

The province will also continue to accompany authorities at all levels to realize socio-economic development goals, aiming at the highest goal of improving people's lives, creating the most favorable conditions to fulfill people's needs and requirements.
