The Provincial Party Secretary presents Tet gifts to workers and the poor.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 3rd, in preparation for the Lunar New Year 2018 (Year of the Dog), Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - visited and presented Tet gifts to workers at the Bac Vinh Industrial Park, and to poor people in Dien Chau district and Hoang Mai town.
Accompanying him were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of the leadership of several provincial departments and agencies.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh visited and extended New Year greetings to workers at Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company in Bac Vinh Industrial Park, Vinh City. Company representatives reported that the average income of workers in 2017 reached over 5 million VND per person per month. In preparation for the Lunar New Year, the company awarded workers a 13th-month salary bonus and other bonuses.

After listening to the company's leaders report, Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh personally visited the production workshops to inquire about the lives and incomes of the workers. There, the Provincial Party Secretary went to the production site and presented 28 Tet gifts to workers with difficult family circumstances; wishing them a warm and happy Tet holiday.
Regarding Minh Anh - Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the province always creates favorable conditions for the company to invest in production in Nghe An, including encouraging investment in districts, cities, and towns to create jobs for local workers.
Later that same day, the Provincial Party Secretary and the provincial delegation presented 122 gifts to poor households and households with particularly difficult circumstances in the two communes of Dien Van and Dien Hai (Dien Chau district), including 15 households who received televisions.

In Hoang Mai town, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh and his delegation presented 108 gifts to poor households and 15 televisions to disadvantaged families in Quynh Loc and Quynh Vinh communes.
Speaking with local people, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh affirmed that the province always pays attention to implementing socio-economic development solutions to improve the living standards of the people, especially poor and near-poor households, helping them to rise in life.

Every Lunar New Year, the province launches the "Tet for the Poor" program to mobilize officials, civil servants, businesses, philanthropists, and those in better circumstances to contribute so that every poor household in the province can have a warm and joyful Tet celebration.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh shared that each gift may not have great material value, but it represents affection and responsibility towards poor households. He also requested that districts, towns, and local authorities closely monitor the situation to not only care for poor households, single-parent households, and households with difficult circumstances during the Lunar New Year but also to regularly show concern for them, ensuring their livelihoods and that their children receive a full education.

Also this afternoon, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh and the provincial delegation visited to offer incense to Comrade Nguyen Huu Doi - former Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Nghe Tinh Provincial Collective Farmers' Union, and former Secretary of the Quynh Luu District Party Committee.
