Provincial Party Secretary visits and wishes a Happy New Year to the family of the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao
(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of January 24, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation visited and wished the family of the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao a Happy New Year 2017 at the private home of Mr. Ninh Viet Nam, Block 2, Cua Nam Ward, the son of the late Associate Professor.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh offered incense to commemorate the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao, expressing his respect for the late Associate Professor's life and career in teaching, collecting, and researching Nghe An folk culture.

The late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao was originally from Hoang Xuyen Commune, Hoang Hoa District, Thanh Hoa Province. In 1956, after graduating from Hanoi Pedagogical University, he taught Literature at Huynh Thuc Khang School, Vinh City. Then he worked at Nghe An Pedagogical College; Department of Education, now the Department of Education and Training; Party History Research Board, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
Throughout his career, the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao had nearly 60 books on Nghe An folk culture. He was awarded the Third and Second Class Labor Medals by the Government; received the State Prize for Literature and Arts; and the Vietnam Book of Records Center "Setting the record for the person with the most research works on Nghe An folk culture" in 2013.

On behalf of the family, Mr. Ninh Viet Nam thanked the Provincial Party Secretary; at the same time, he informed that the children of the late Associate Professor's family are discussing to donate the entire bookcase according to the will of the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao to the Nghe An Provincial Library, in order to promote the value of the late Associate Professor's research works, serving the needs of readers to learn about Nghe An's folk culture.
On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, the Provincial Party Secretary sent New Year greetings to the entire family of the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao; at the same time, he said he would discuss with the leaders of the Department of Culture and Sports and the Nghe An Provincial Library to receive and arrange the bookshelf of the late Associate Professor Ninh Viet Giao when the family donated it.
