According to Park Hang-seo, Vietnam played well in the second half, creating many dangerous scoring opportunities. However, the players failed to capitalize on them.

The South Korean coach declined to comment on the situation where Van Toan's goal against Myanmar was disallowed in the second half. However, Park Hang-seo stated that he was dissatisfied with the referee's performance. Coach Park Hang-seo said: "I honestly didn't see the situation clearly. We will review the footage to check if Van Toan was offside or not, and then we will give our opinion."

With the 0-0 draw against Myanmar, Vietnam remains in second place in Group A, level on 7 points with Myanmar but trailing by two goals. Despite this, coach Park Hang-seo confidently believes Vietnam still has a chance to win Group A.

Coach Park said: “In the final match, we face Cambodia, while Myanmar has to play against Malaysia. If we play well, Vietnam will still have a chance to win first place in the group.”

According to the plan, the Vietnamese national team will return home tomorrow to prepare for their final match against Cambodia in Group A of the 2018 AFF Cup. The match will take place on November 24th at Hang Day Stadium (Hanoi).
