(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing himself surrounded, the suspect immediately pulled out a gun and fired back. However, he was subdued and arrested by the detectives along with a black backpack containing 10 blocks of heroin and a K59 pistol.

On July 6th, the Nghia Dan District Police, in coordination with Department 3 of the Criminal Investigation Department for Drug Crimes and the Criminal Investigation Department for Drug Crimes of the Provincial Police, cracked case 206N involving the illegal trafficking of narcotics with the use of military weapons, arresting the suspect and seizing 10 blocks of heroin.

Accordingly, at 2:30 PM, in the Nam Nhoong forest area, Que Phong district, using various investigative methods, the detectives discovered suspicious individuals showing signs of engaging in the illegal buying and selling of narcotics. The special task force quickly deployed detectives to closely monitor and track them.

Seeing themselves surrounded, the suspects immediately drew their guns to resist arrest. However, they were subdued and apprehended. At the scene, authorities arrested one suspect and seized a black backpack containing 10 packages of white powder, shaped like cakes, suspected to be heroin. At the investigative agency, the suspect identified himself as Tho Ba Nai (born in 1990, residing in Huoi Xai 1 village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district). Tho Ba Nai confessed to all acts of illegal drug trafficking and illegal possession and use of military weapons.

The incident is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
