Residents of Bac Ninh hamlet, Tay Hieu commune (Thai Hoa town) have recently been upset about a sand dump that has blatantly sprung up in the middle of a residential area.

According to the feedback of the people of Bac Ninh hamlet, recently, a sand and gravel collection site has appeared in the drying yard of a coffee business in the area. Every day, many large trucks carry sand here to collect, and at night, they are loaded onto tractor trailers to be transported elsewhere for consumption. It is worth mentioning that this situation has been going on for a long time, affecting people's lives, damaging roads, and polluting the environment, but has not been handled.

A resident of Bac Ninh hamlet said: Every day, Howo trucks carrying sand to this gathering place are very crowded, and at dusk, they are transported by long tractors to other places. Because the road connecting Provincial Road 545 (now named Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street) to the gathering place is a concrete road, short and has many curves, so every time the trucks carrying sand enter and exit, they often scatter sand, causing environmental pollution and damaging the entire hamlet road.

Some residents were upset when heavy trucks carrying sand continuously came in and out but authorities did not check and handle the situation. At times, when the trailer truck carrying sand went in and out, it crashed into the wall and damaged people's houses.
