Continuing the working agenda on the afternoon of May 12th, the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the term 2026-2031, approved the Personnel Plan for the Committee.Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, 2026-2031; Consultation and election of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, 2026-2031.

The Congress approved the number of members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 11th term, 2026-2031, to be 405; members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to be 72-100; and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to be 12.

Specifically, the structure and composition of the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front include:

Heads of member organizations: 62.

Chairpersons of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities: 34 individuals.

The 293 individuals are exemplary figures, including: Intellectuals and experts in various fields: 96 (92 were nominated for the Congress through consultation, 4 will be added and completed during the term); Workers, farmers, armed forces, and island districts: 18; Representatives of ethnic minorities: 53 (representing all 53 ethnic minorities); Representatives of religious dignitaries: 53 (representing all 16 major religions and religious organizations with large numbers of followers); Representatives of economic sectors: 55 (54 were nominated for the Congress through consultation, 1 will be added when suitable personnel become available); Vietnamese people residing abroad: 18 (17 were nominated for the Congress through consultation, 1 will be added when suitable personnel become available).

The staff of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front consists of 16 members, including: the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: 7 members (not including the heads of political and social organizations at the central level); and the heads of departments and units under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: 9 members (7 were nominated for consultation at the Congress, the remaining 2 will be added during the term).

Regarding the composition of members: Non-Party members number 201 (50.62%), compared to 50.1% in the 10th term; Women number 93 (23.4%), compared to 21.9% in the 10th term; Ethnic minorities number 105 (26.5%), compared to 25.4% in the 10th term; Religious groups number 78 (19.7%), compared to 17% in the 10th term; Education level: University degree or higher for 316 (81.6%), compared to 80.7% in the 10th term.

Regarding age: 41 individuals are 40 years old or younger (10.3%); 179 individuals are 41-60 years old (45.1%); and 177 individuals are 61 years old or older (44.6%).

At the Congress, 397 members were elected to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, 2026-2031 (8 members are missing and will be filled during the term when suitable personnel become available), specifically: 309 members were re-elected (77.8%), and 88 members were newly nominated (22.2%).

Also during this afternoon's working session, the first meeting of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 11th term, 2026-2031, took place.

Tomorrow (May 13th), the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, for the term 2026-2031, will hold its closing session.
