Singer Nhật Minh has officially announced that he has filed for divorce from artist Bình Tinh, ending their two-decade-long relationship. Currently, the female artist has not yet responded.
On the afternoon of December 4th, singer Nhat Minh unexpectedly announced on his personal page that he and Cai Luong (Vietnamese traditional opera) artist Binh Tinh had decided to divorce. According to the announcement, both had filed for mutual divorce in November 2025, officially ending their marriage of nearly two decades.
In his post, Nhat Minh wrote: "Binh Tinh and I have divorced, I hope everything goes well. Please stop attacking each other, I apologize for the inconvenience over the past few days." This move comes amidst recent rumors that he was close to another girl, however, he has denied it and stated that they are just friends.
A 20-year journey and the reasons for keeping the relationship private.
Binh Tinh and Nhat Minh have been together for 20 years and have a daughter together named Bella Cat Tien. Their relationship is considered one of the most enduring love stories in Vietnamese showbiz. Despite this, the couple kept their relationship private for the first 12 years and only officially went public in 2018.
Explaining this decision, Binh Tinh once shared about the pressure a young artist faces when publicly revealing their relationship. She said: "For many years, we haven't announced it because we have our own personal concerns. As young artists without established names... marriage is still a 'pending matter' for us. We haven't had a wedding, but we love each other and care for and worry about each other."

Throughout their relationship, Nhật Minh was known as a quiet husband, supporting and handling the logistics so that Bình Tinh could focus on developing her career. Conversely, Bình Tinh was the economic pillar, running the Huỳnh Long traditional opera troupe of her family.
Contrary to her husband's announcement, artist Binh Tinh remains silent about the marital upheaval. On her personal page, she only updates images related to her work, performance schedule, and event attendance; she has not shared any information about the end of her marriage.
