Barca's three strikers are superior to Real's three

Statistics on the number of goals show that the MSN trio (Messi - Suarez - Neymar) has been playing more effectively than their BBC colleagues since the beginning of this season.

Messi, Suarez and Neymar have scored 17 goals between them. Messi has eight, Suarez has seven and Neymar has two.

Meanwhile, injuries and coach Zidane's strategy of rotating the squad meant that BBC (Benzema, Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo) only scored five goals.

The main reason for the poor performance of Real's attacking stars is that they cannot play as much as in previous seasons. Gareth Bale has only been able to play 321 minutes out of 540 minutes for Real since the beginning of the season.

Although his playing time is less than 60%, the Welsh striker is still superior in this aspect compared to Karim Benzema (41%) and Cristiano Ronaldo (30%).

However, Barca's MSN trio also has its own problems. Neymar is late to practice due to serving the national team at the Olympics and Messi has a hip injury.

Despite not benefiting much from the goals of the three attacking stars, Real is the team leading the table with 12 points after four rounds. Meanwhile, Barca only has nine points after losing 1-2 to Alaves in round three.

With Bale and Ronaldo back in training, the BBC trio are fully fit to take part in the match at Villarreal on September 21. Also that evening, Barca will have a fierce confrontation with Atletico Madrid.
