On October 22nd, a delegation from the Provincial Military Command, led by Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Exercise Steering Committee - inspected the preparations for the regional defense exercise for the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An.
After hearing the report from the Command Board of Defense Zone 1 - Van An on the results of planning, construction, and repair of the regional defense exercise command post and the identification of live-fire exercise locations, Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Defense Zone Exercise Steering Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the planning work as well as the progress of construction and repair of items within the Command Post, and the identification of live-fire exercise locations in preparation for the regional defense exercise.
Agreeing with the proposal to adjust some items in the exercise command center as recommended by the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command emphasized: In 2025, Nghe An will be assigned by the 4th Military Region Command to organize a regional defense exercise for the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An as a pilot project to draw lessons for implementation throughout the entire Military Region.
Based on the study of directives from the Ministry of National Defense, Military Region 4, and the Provincial Military Command, and in conjunction with the practical situation arising from the implementation of a two-tiered government system, the Command of Defense Area 1 - Van An needs to thoroughly understand the Party's viewpoints and guidelines on building a national defense system in the current new situation and disseminate them to all officers and soldiers in its unit. It must continue to do a good job of preparation, including accelerating the construction and repair of the exercise command post. The construction process must comply with regulations, ensuring the quality of the work and maintaining confidentiality.
