Concluding the inspection, Colonel Nguyen Van An requested the Command of Defense Area 2 – Quynh Luu and the Military Commands of the communes and wards to continue to do a good job of advising the local Party committees and authorities to closely monitor the recruitment situation; clearly assign responsibilities to members of the Military Service Council to coordinate closely with forces in managing youth, and make thorough preparations to ensure that the troop handover ceremony takes place solemnly, quickly, and with absolute safety.

In 2026, the Government assigned Nghe An province the task of selecting and enlisting citizens for military service and service in the People's Public Security Force. This year's recruitment process has several new features, including: the commune/ward-level Military Service Council is primarily responsible for the recruitment process; the Regional Defense Command directly guides and assists the commune/ward-level Military Service Council in carrying out its duties; and health standards have been raised.

The Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command requested that young men enlisting in the army must meet all health and political quality standards; at the same time, he emphasized the importance of effective propaganda, motivation, and support for families with young men enlisting in the army, with the determination that in 2026, Nghe An province will ensure that it fulfills 100% of its recruitment target with high quality.
