The Military Command of Nghe An province has done a good job in mass mobilization work.

Leading the delegation was Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4.

Receiving and working with the delegation on behalf of Nghe An province were: Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.

In implementing the Decision of the Ministry of National Defence approving the Project "Improving the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work of the armed forces of Military Region 4, giai đoạn 2023 - 2030 and beyond," the Nghe An Provincial Military Command has achieved good results. Notably, the Party Committees, Party branches, and commanders at all levels have led, directed, and thoroughly implemented the directives from higher levels on mass mobilization work, concretizing them into resolutions, thematic plans, and implementation plans tailored to the characteristics and situation of the units and localities. They have proactively coordinated with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to advise the Provincial Party Committee to issue directives, and the Provincial People's Committee to issue decisions establishing the Steering Committee, the Standing Agency, and the Working Group for the Project.

The Provincial Military Command also directed the Military Commands of districts, cities, and towns to develop a system of documents at their respective levels and advise local Party committees and authorities on building plans and implementing the Project according to schedule; closely coordinate with units stationed in the area to implement the contents of mass mobilization work and build twinning programs with localities according to the set plan, contributing to maintaining political security, order, and social safety in the area.

In implementing Directive 05 of the Politburo, the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" and "Good Mass Mobilization Units" of the provincial armed forces has produced many excellent models and innovative approaches that have been highly appreciated by the Party committees, government, and people, such as "Helping people have enough to eat and be self-reliant in their villages," "I love my homeland - presenting the national flag to fishermen going out to sea," "Strong rear, firm front," "Loving godmothers," etc.

In concluding the inspection, Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 4 - highly appreciated the results of the implementation of the Project "Improving the quality and effectiveness of mass mobilization work of the armed forces of Military Region 4, giai đoạn 2023 - 2030 and the following years" by the Military Command of Nghe An province.

The Political Commissar of Military Region 4 requested that in the coming period, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command continue to do a good job of advising the local Party committees and authorities, and the Steering Committee on the effective implementation of the set contents and objectives; continue to thoroughly understand the directives of the Military Region, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee; and concretize the contents, objectives, targets, and implementation measures to ensure they reach all Party committees, commanders, agencies, and units.

Effectively promote the leadership, management, and exemplary role of commanders at all levels and cadres in organizing and implementing the Project. Provide effective advice to local Party committees and authorities in leading and directing the implementation; focus on building a sufficient number of qualified and ethically sound cadres for mass mobilization work at all levels; and leverage the combined strength in the implementation of the Project. Coordinate closely with the Mass Mobilization Department, the Fatherland Front, and other political and social organizations and local forces to effectively disseminate information and organize the implementation of the Project, especially in selecting pilot areas and models; link the implementation of the Project with military and national defense tasks in the area; the implementation process must be practical, effective, and appropriate to the needs, customs, traditions, beliefs, religions, and psychology of the people in each implementation area.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited the Vinh Diocese Bishop's Office and presented 20 gifts, each worth 1,000,000 VND, to underprivileged students at the Vinh Diocese Bishop's Office. Bishop Alphonsus Nguyen Huu Long, the principal Bishop of the Vinh Diocese, received and worked with the delegation.
