The Nghe An Provincial Military Command launched the Tree Planting Festival.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Military Command called on all officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces to actively participate in the "Planting Trees in Remembrance of the Great President Ho Chi Minh" campaign and consider it a regular and continuous task.

The Provincial Military Command also directed that, with the motto "plant a tree, ensure it thrives," agencies and units need to identify planting locations, select suitable tree species, choose high-quality seedlings, and take advantage of favorable weather conditions in each unit to organize tree planting and reforestation to achieve good results.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, agencies and units under the Provincial Military Command simultaneously organized the launching ceremony for the Tree Planting Festival - Spring of the Year of the Pig 2019.

According to the plan, on this occasion, the armed forces of the province will plant nearly 24,000 timber trees and over 5,000 fruit trees and scattered trees of various types within the premises of the Provincial Military Command, the military commands of the districts, and the combat readiness training bases of the units.
