The Nghe An Provincial Military Command reorganized its local military agencies.
On the afternoon of June 24th, under the chairmanship of Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Commander, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command organized a handover and transfer of duties from the Military Commands of Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc districts and Vinh City to the Regional Defense Command 1 - Van An.
Previously, on June 22nd, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command announced Decision No. 2786/QD-BQP dated June 14th, 2025, of the Ministry of National Defense on the dissolution of 20 district-level Military Commands (MBs). Simultaneously, five new Regional Defense Commands (RDCs) were established: RDC 1 – Van An, RDC 2 – Quynh Luu, RDC 3 – Quy Chau, RDC 4 – Tuong Duong, and RDC 5 – Anh Son. The Provincial Military Party Committee also announced and presented decisions establishing the Party Committees of these Regional Defense Commands.
At the conference, after hearing the handover minutes announced, the delegates discussed and agreed on several points to ensure that the merger and transfer of responsibilities between agencies proceeded smoothly and quickly. Following this, the delegates signed to confirm the merger and handover minutes.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Dinh Bat Van, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, requested that the Van An Regional Command 1 quickly stabilize its organizational structure and personnel, assign specific tasks; consolidate the Party organization, command structure, and mass organizations, and put them into operation according to their functions and duties; and properly address the entitlements and policies for eligible individuals.
Focus on building and strengthening infrastructure at workplaces, military bases, and national defense land areas; effectively manage weapons, equipment, technical means, and facilities, and have a plan for scientific data storage. Proactively, diligently, and resolutely complete military and national defense tasks in the new situation.
* Also on the afternoon of June 24th, under the chairmanship of Colonel Hoang Dinh Luan - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, the Regional Defense Command 2 - Quynh Luu organized a handover conference for the Military Commands of Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu districts and Hoang Mai town to the Regional Defense Command.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Colonel Hoang Dinh Luan – Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command – acknowledged and commended the sense of responsibility and close coordination between the Military Commands of the districts and towns and the Regional Defense Command 2 - Quynh Luu in the handover process.
The Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command highly appreciated the units' serious and correct implementation of the deployed procedures and plans, ensuring uniformity and effectiveness in all aspects of work.
Colonel Hoang Dinh Luan emphasized that after receiving the handover, the Party Committee of the Defense Zone 2 - Quynh Luu needs to quickly stabilize the organization, promote internal unity and cohesion; continue to thoroughly understand and carefully study the directives, decisions, and guidelines of higher levels; closely follow the direction of commanders at all levels to organize the implementation of tasks on schedule, ensuring quality and completing them on time as prescribed.
Under the new circumstances of mergers, reorganizations, and new establishment, while simultaneously carrying out regular and extraordinary tasks according to their functions and duties, and consolidating the organizational structure and forces, the Party Committee of the Defense Zone 2 - Quynh Luu must unite, be cohesive, and strive with high determination to successfully complete its tasks in 2025 and the following years.
