The Provincial Military Command launched the 2026 Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health.
On the morning of May 7th, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command organized the launching ceremony for the 2026 Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health and the emulation movement "Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Digital Transformation, Green Transformation" in the provincial armed forces for the period 2026-3030.

At the ceremony, officers and soldiers watched a propaganda video clip produced by the General Department of Logistics and Technical Services (Ministry of National Defense). Through this, officers and soldiers were informed and introduced to effective and successful practices in ensuring safety during training and other regular tasks of units throughout the army.

The program also launched activities in response to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and initiated the emulation movement "Innovation, development of science and technology, digital transformation, green transformation" in the provincial armed forces for the period 2026-3030. This includes focusing on raising awareness and responsibility among officers and soldiers in the units regarding occupational safety and health, preventing risks and hazards related to labor accidents, especially recurring occupational accidents and fires.

Furthermore, it is essential to strictly adhere to legal regulations on occupational safety and hygiene; actively practice fire prevention and firefighting plans to ensure absolute safety of warehouses, workplaces, and work areas; actively research and apply measures to ensure safety in labor and training; and promote the implementation of the "50 Campaign" on "Managing and exploiting weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely, economically, and ensuring traffic safety".

The Nghe An Provincial Military Command also requested that units focus on investing in and consolidating warehouses, stations, equipment, and vehicles; organize occupational safety and hygiene training to ensure it is thorough, specific, and closely aligned with the unit's mission; and instruct unit commanders to maintain inspection work to prevent labor accidents and traffic accidents caused by subjective errors throughout the provincial armed forces.
