The Provincial Military Command visited and presented Tet gifts to the poor in Muong Quang commune.
On February 3rd, a delegation from the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, led by Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to officials and people of Muong Quang commune, Nghe An province.

Muong Quang commune was established by merging three communes: Quang Phong, Cam Muon, and Chau Thon in the former Que Phong district, with a total natural area of approximately 342.15 km². This commune is located in a mountainous, highland area, facing particularly difficult conditions. By the end of 2025, the commune had 23 hamlets and villages with approximately 3,403 households and 17,900 inhabitants; the percentage of poor and near-poor households in the commune remains very high, accounting for over 50% of the total households.

In response to the appeal for support and assistance for the poor, disadvantaged, and vulnerable in celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 from the Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, the aim is to spread the spirit of "mutual support and compassion," "comradeship and brotherhood," and to promote the fine cultural traditions of the nation and the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era. This will help support, encourage, and share with those in particularly difficult circumstances so they can celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year warmly and joyfully, contributing to the effective implementation of social policies, policies supporting the military's rear areas, and improving mass mobilization work, especially building a strong foundation of public support and strengthening the people's trust in the military and local armed forces, with the goal of "leaving no one behind."

In Muong Quang commune, the Provincial Military Command presented 45 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, to families in extremely difficult circumstances; families of young men preparing to enlist in the army who are facing hardship; poor but academically excellent students; and respected individuals in the community…

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Dinh Bat Van, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Commander of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized that while the value of the gifts was not great, this act demonstrated the sharing spirit of the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command towards the people in the highlands and border areas during the traditional Lunar New Year. The Commander of the Provincial Military Command expressed his hope that in the coming time, the Party Committee and people of the commune will continue to uphold and promote the national cultural identity, always abide by the Party's guidelines, policies, and the laws of the State, actively participate in production and socio-economic development, preserve national cultural identity, and maintain political security and social order in the area. He also called for the mobilization of all resources; We will leverage the support of businesses and benevolent individuals inside and outside the province to assist policy beneficiary families, meritorious individuals, vulnerable groups, and families in difficult circumstances so that they can celebrate Tet more warmly and fully; and organize activities for the people to enjoy the Spring Festival in a joyful, healthy, safe, and economical manner.
