The Nghe An Provincial Military Command won first prize in the military shooting competition.

(Baonghean.vn) -In order to realistically assess the results of training for militia forces, and thereby draw lessons and direct the improvement of training quality for militia forces throughout the Military Region, on August 15th, Military Region 4 organized the 2016 militia shooting competition.

48 male and female athletes from the militia forces of 6 provinces in Military Region 4, selected through grassroots competitions, competed in the AK submachine gun shooting event, lesson 1, focusing on shooting at concealed and visible targets during the day.

Major General Dang Trong Quan – Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 4 – presented awards to the winning teams.

After a day of competition, the organizing committee awarded the first prize for the team category to the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, the second prize to the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, and the third prize to the Ha Tinh and Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Commands, along with individual prizes for male and female athletes. Following this sports event, the organizing committee will select athletes, form a team, and organize training to participate in the Ministry-level sports event in the near future.
