On this occasion, the Provincial Military Command also donated cultural facilities worth 130 million VND, including a statue of President Ho Chi Minh, tables, chairs, sound systems, curtains, etc., which were taken from the fund to support the poor initiated by the Provincial Military Command.
Nam Giai is one of the disadvantaged communes in Que Phong district, with 100% of its population being ethnic minorities. Currently, the poverty rate remains very high, at 65%. Therefore, to help the people develop their economy in a stable and sustainable direction, the Military Command has provided various forms of assistance, specifically: helping people build new rural roads; investing in and transferring production and livestock farming techniques for high-economic-value crops and animals. At the same time, they have supported the local authorities in constructing public works serving the people in the area, contributing to changing the face of life for people in this remote mountainous region.
