The Nghe An Provincial Military Command summarizes the work of the Youth Union and youth movement for the period 2022-2025.
On the morning of October 30th, the Military Command of Nghe An province held a conference to summarize the activities of the Youth Union and youth movement during the 2022-2025 period; and to determine the direction and tasks for the 2025-2030 period.
Attending the conference were: Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Military Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Nguyen Hong Loi - Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command.
The Provincial Youth Union delegation included Comrade Ho Phuc Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union. Also attending the conference were the heads of the Staff, Political, Logistics and Technical Department; representatives from the Military Region's Mass Mobilization Department, affiliated units in the province, and 80 delegates who are outstanding Youth Union officials and members selected from the Youth Union congresses at all levels within the Nghe An Provincial Military Command.

Over the years, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Provincial Military Command has seriously implemented the resolutions of Party committees at all levels and the orders of commanders; proactively grasped the situation, and regularly educated and raised the political awareness of its members. It has actively advised and coordinated with agencies, departments, local Youth Union organizations, and affiliated units to promote activities focused on fulfilling the political tasks of the agency and unit, as well as social activities. The Youth Union organization has been strengthened and built into a robust entity.

These achievements have significantly contributed to the successful implementation of local military and national defense tasks, building strong and comprehensive "exemplary" agencies and units. Many exemplary movements, programs, and models have been participated in, maintained, and effectively promoted by youth organizations, such as: "Connecting love between teachers and students," "Helping children go to school," "Youth watchtower," "Water for the training ground," "Sewing soldiers' uniforms," "Border guard's scissors," "Charitable house," "Model school week," and "Youth branches without cadres or youth members violating discipline and law." They also coordinated and successfully implemented the "Warm Tet in Western Nghe An" program, organizing free medicine distribution, examinations, and treatment for people in difficult areas, remote areas, and ethnic minority regions.

Particularly noteworthy and consistently effective is the model "I Love My Homeland - Donating National Flags to Fishermen at Sea," which has donated over 50,000 national flags and more than 704 gifts, with a total value exceeding 2 billion VND. In 2024, the youth union model "I Love My Homeland - Donating National Flags to Fishermen at Sea" was organized and honored by the Central Propaganda Department as a typical model at the national level for "Studying and Following the Ideology, Morality, and Style of Ho Chi Minh," spreading widely throughout the Military Region and the entire country.

For the period 2025-2030, with the action slogan "Youth of the Armed Forces of Nghe An Province: Aspiration, Unity, Creativity, Innovation, and Development," the conference identified two breakthroughs: Taking the lead in training and combat readiness; building a regular and disciplined armed forces; contributing to building a lean, efficient, and strong provincial armed forces to meet the requirements of the new situation. Promoting digital transformation, military administrative reform, and the application of science and technology.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Hong Loi – Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command – acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Youth Union of the Provincial Armed Forces in the past period, and emphasized: In the coming time, the youth organizations need to continue to innovate the content and methods of their activities; prioritize political and ideological education, cultivate revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyles, and awaken the aspiration for contribution, the pioneering spirit, and creativity of cadres and union members.
The Deputy Political Commissar of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command requested that the youth of the provincial armed forces promote the application of science and technology and digital transformation in youth union work; link youth movement activities with the implementation of training, combat readiness, and building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" provincial armed forces, meeting the requirements and tasks set in the new situation.
