The Ministry of Public Security has provided 500 million VND in support to flood victims in Nghe An province.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 17th, Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Minister of Public Security, and a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security visited our province and provided financial assistance to the people of Nghe An affected by floods and heavy rains.

Receiving and working with the delegation, on the provincial side were comrades Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Police Department.

At the meeting to receive support from the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong informed about some of the damage and the timely khắc phục of the consequences of the heavy rains and floods in mid-October in the two low-lying districts of Hung Nguyen and Nam Dan.

Previously, due to the influence of the storm's circulation, heavy rains, flash floods, and landslides occurred, causing significant damage to people and property in some mountainous districts of Nghe An province.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong expressed gratitude for the sincere sentiments and timely support from the Ministry of Public Security and Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam personally towards Nghe An and the people affected by the floods.

The professional support from the Ministry of Public Security plays a crucial role in ensuring political security and social order in the area; contributing to the promotion of the province's socio-economic, national defense, and security goals and tasks.

"The support provided by the Ministry of Public Security to the people affected by this flood once again demonstrates the valuable and timely concern and support of the Ministry of Public Security and Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam personally for Nghe An province," emphasized Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong.

Appreciating the province's attention to the police force and the contributions of the Nghe An Police in effectively controlling the situation in the region and ensuring security and order in the province, Deputy Minister of Public Security Bui Van Nam expressed his hope that the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and all levels and sectors would continue to pay attention and create all conditions for the Nghe An Police force to excellently fulfill its nhiệm vụ. On the part of the Ministry of Public Security, it will continue to direct the police force to effectively carry out the political tasks assigned by the Party and the State.
