Ministry of Public Security supports flood victims in Nghe An with 500 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 17, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security and a working delegation of the Ministry of Public Security visited our province and presented money to support Nghe An people affected by floods.

Receiving and working with the delegation, on the provincial side, there were comrades Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the provincial Police.

At the meeting to receive support from the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong informed about some damage situations as well as directions to promptly overcome the consequences of the flood in mid-October for the two lowland districts of Hung Nguyen and Nam Dan.

Previously, due to the impact of storm circulation, heavy rain, flash floods occurred, causing great damage to people and property of people in some mountainous districts of Nghe An.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Nguyen Van Thong expressed his sincere gratitude and timely sympathy for Nghe An and the people affected by floods from the Ministry of Public Security and Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam personally.
