The Ministry of Public Security presents gifts to a particularly disadvantaged 9th-grade female student.

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 21st, a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security, led by Colonel Pham Quang Tuyen - Deputy Director of the Policy Department of the Ministry of Public Security, and representatives from several departments of the Nghe An Provincial Police, presented gifts to Bui Thi Dieu Thuy, from Nam Thanh commune, Nam Dan district.

Bui Thi Dieu Thuy, a 9th-grade student at Nam Thanh Secondary School in Nam Dan District, comes from a particularly difficult background. Her mother passed away early, and her father is frequently ill. Dieu Thuy dreams of becoming a People's Police officer, and therefore she always strives to excel in her studies. For many years, she has been an outstanding student at her school. Having learned about her situation through a newspaper article, and to encourage her to study hard and pursue her dream, the Minister of Public Security decided to award her a savings account of 30 million VND and a bicycle, funded by the Ministry of Public Security's "Comradeship and Solidarity" fund.

Although the gift was not large, it demonstrated the concern and support of the Ministry of Public Security's leaders for those in difficult circumstances, and for underprivileged students who excel in their studies across the country.

Thuy and her family were deeply moved and promised to study hard to make her dreams come true.
