Border guards in Nghe An province help people overcome the consequences of storms and strong winds.

Due to the impact of typhoon number 3, on September 7th, some areas in Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts experienced heavy rain and thunderstorms, causing roof damage and landslides.

Upon receiving the information, the Nghe An Border Guard mobilized forces to coordinate with local authorities and residents to help affected households overcome the consequences.

In Pha Khao village, Mai Son commune, Tuong Duong district, heavy rain and thunderstorms ripped off the roofs of three houses. The Nhon Mai Border Guard Post mobilized officers and soldiers to brave the rain to repair the damage. Since the affected households were not at home, the officers and soldiers helped rearrange broken items and cover household belongings to ensure their safety.

In Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, heavy rain on September 7th caused landslides in Khe Linh and Huoi Phuon 1 villages. To ensure the safety of the people, the Keng Du Border Guard Station coordinated with the local authorities and other forces to survey and encourage households in the dangerous areas to relocate to safe locations.
