Nghe An Border Guard helps people overcome storm consequences

Due to the impact of storm No. 3, on September 7, some areas in Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts had heavy rain and storms that blew off roofs and caused landslides.

As soon as receiving the information, Nghe An Border Guard mobilized forces to coordinate with local authorities and people to help affected households overcome the consequences.

In Pha Khao village, Mai Son commune, Tuong Duong district, heavy rain and storms blew off the roofs of 3 households. Nhon Mai Border Guard Station mobilized officers and soldiers to brave the rain to overcome the consequences. Because the affected households were not at home, officers and soldiers helped rearrange broken furniture, cover household items, and ensure safety.

In Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, heavy rain on September 7 caused landslides in Khe Linh and Huoi Phuon 1 villages. To ensure the safety of the people, Keng Du Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities and forces to survey and mobilize households in dangerous areas to evacuate to safe locations.
