Border guards in Nghe An province commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Truong Bon Historical Site.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 29th, on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the victory at Truông Bồn and the day of sacrifice of 13 Youth Volunteer Martyrs of Company 317 (October 31, 1968 - October 31, 2020), a delegation from the Party Committee of the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a flower and incense offering ceremony at the Truông Bồn Historical Site in My Son commune (Do Luong district).

With reverence, the leaders of the Nghe An Border Guard Command offered flowers and incense to the spirits of the heroic martyrs, expressing their profound respect, admiration, and gratitude to the 13 Youth Volunteer martyrs and other martyrs of the resistance war against the US for national liberation.
During the fierce years of the war against America, this legendary road...Truong BonIt was a vital transportation artery supplying manpower and resources from the vast rear area of the North to the vast front line of the South.

Before the spirits of the heroes and martyrs, the officers and soldiers of the Nghe An Border Guard Command pledged to overcome difficulties, strive to better fulfill the task of protecting national border security and sovereignty, and build an increasingly strong people's border defense system, to be worthy of the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations.
