Border guards donate breeding goats to poor households in Ky Son.

(Baonghean.vn) - On November 2nd, My Ly Border Guard Station (Ky Son district) held a ceremony to present breeding goats and grapefruit saplings to poor households in the area.

At the ceremony, My Ly Border Guard Station presented 15 pairs of breeding goats to 15 poor households in Bac Ly commune. Each household received two breeding goats worth 4,200,000 VND, which the recipient households themselves selected and purchased.

The total cost for this livestock donation is 63,000,000 VND, funded by contributions from Border Guard officers and soldiers, as well as support and assistance from benefactors.

During this event, the My Ly Border Guard Post also donated 250 Dien pomelo saplings worth 12.5 million VND; and provided guidance on planting and caring techniques to poor households in Bac Ly commune.
