(Baonghean.vn) - Heavy rains lasting for several days have caused the Lam River to rise, submerging hundreds of hectares of corn in Anh Son district. According to a quick report from the District Department of Agriculture, currently 290 hectares of corn are flooded. Local authorities and residents are doing everything possible to minimize damage caused by the floods. In Hoi Son commune, more than 100 officers and soldiers from Regiment 335 have voluntarily braved the floods to help farmers harvest their crops.
