According to a quick report from the district's Department of Agriculture, currently 290 hectares of corn are submerged in floodwaters, and local authorities and people are doing everything they can to limit the damage caused by floods. In Hoi Son commune, more than 100 officers and soldiers of Regiment 335 have volunteered to overcome the flood to help farmers harvest.
