According to RT, the British military stated on February 17: "Russia maintains a significant military presence capable of striking without warning. This map could be the axis of attack that Russian President Putin might deploy."
The map of England has seven different arrows pointing from Russia and Belarus.UkraineThis map was published an hour after British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss expressed serious concern about reports of increased Russian aggression.
Truss's statement came after reports that "Ukraine's unusual military activity in Donbas is a clear attempt by the Russian government to create the pretext for an attack." Following this, U.S. President Joe Biden stated that Russia could launch a military operation against Ukraine in the coming days.
Britain and the US have accused Russia of wanting to attack Ukraine since last October, but have offered no evidence to support their claims. However, this has not prevented many media outlets from publishing ominous maps depicting an impending attack.
Moscow has rejected the accusations and described the Western reports as "fake news." Even the Kyiv government has urged its Western allies to reject this rhetoric, saying it is sowing panic and harming Ukraine.
