The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Military Region 5 recently held a ceremony to announce and present decisions on personnel matters from the Ministry of National Defense and the Command of Military Region 5 to leading officials of subordinate agencies and units.
Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, member of the Central Committee of the Party, member of the Central Military Commission, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 5, and Lieutenant General Nguyen Long Cang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of Military Region 5, presented appointment decisions to the following officers: Colonel Nguyen Thanh Xuan, Political Commissar of the Military Command of Dak Lak province, was appointed Political Commissar of the Logistics Department.
