The Ministry of National Defence has donated 200 million VND to flood victims in Nghe An province.

(Baonghean.vn) - Authorized by the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Tran Vo Dung, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Head of Political Affairs of Military Region 4, has handed over 200 million VND from the Ministry of National Defense to support flood victims in Nghe An province.

In Nghe An province, the recent heavy rains and tornadoes caused widespread flooding, resulting in significant loss of life and property. Five people died, over 8,000 households were flooded, over 2,000 hectares of crops were damaged, nearly 23,000 livestock were swept away, and many infrastructure projects such as power lines, roads, schools, and irrigation canals were damaged.

Major General Tran Vo Dung, Head of Political Department of Military Region 4, handed over 200 million VND to Nghe An province.

The areas most severely affected are Vinh City, Yen Thanh, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan districts, and some mountainous districts… In light of this situation, the Ministry of National Defense has decided to allocate 200 million VND to encourage and assist the people in the flood-affected areas of Nghe An province to overcome difficulties and quickly stabilize their lives.
